Why should I join the Virtual Bud Club?
You can send Virtual Flower Bouquets without being a Virtual Bud Club Member, but you may want to join the Club because of these great benefits:

  • It's totally FREE!
  • Virtual Bud Address Book gives you quick, convenient access to your e-mail addresses.
  • Virtual Flower Bouquet Mailbox provides a history of sent and to-be-sent Virtual Flower Bouquets, with a convenient 're-send' feature.
  • Forget-Me-Not Service notifies you of important dates you want to remember.
  • Virtual Profile lets you automatically insert your name and e-mail address into the Virtual Flower Bouquets you create.

Do I want to automatically sign-in?
If you have a computer that only you or people you trust have access to, then automatic sign-in is a convenient feature without any drawbacks.

If you share a computer, we recommend that you do not select the automatic sign-in feature. In addition, be certain to sign-out from the Members page, or close your browser (which will also sign you out), when you are finished using Virtual Florist.

If someone gains access to your membership page, they could see a history of the Virtual Flower Bouquets you have sent or could change the settings of your address book or profile.

How do I change my member e-mail address?
If your e-mail address changes, you should update your Virtual Bud Club profile.

  1. Click on the Members tab and choose "Your Virtual Profile."
  2. Change your e-mail address and click "Submit Changes."

Why don't I see my card listed in my "mailbox"?
A card you have sent may not be listed in the Virtual Flower Bouquet Mailbox for one of three reasons:

  1. It was sent over 30 days ago.
  2. It was sent before you became a member.
  3. You used a different "From" e-mail address.

What's up with the "Non-Delivery" notice?
E-mail is normally rejected for two reasons:

  1. It is incorrectly addressed.
  2. It is blocked by the recipient.
If you accidentally used the wrong address, you will need to re-send the card (please see the next question).

However, some service providers allow members to block e-mail from unrecognized addresses or domains. Recipients with restricted mail can modify their mailbox settings to allow mail from the Virtual Florist's domain at "iflori.securesites.net".

How can I re-send my message to the correct address?
If you are not a Virtual Bud Club member, it will be necessary to re-create your Virtual Flower Bouquet from scratch. We do not have a way to recover incorrectly addressed cards for non-members.

If you are a Virtual Bud Club member, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Members' tab. If you're not automatically signed in, you'll need to do so.
  2. Click 'Virtual Flower Bouquet Mailbox' from the list of Virtual Bud Club features.
  3. All the bouquets that you have sent during the last 30 days will be listed.
  4. Locate the bouquet you wish to re-send, then click on the 're-send' link.
  5. If you wish to correct the e-mail address, you may do so at this time.

I accidentally deleted my pickup code. How do I get another?

  2. Surf to the Virtual Florist home page at http://www.virtualflorist.com.
  3. Click on the 'Card Pick-Up' tab in the upper left-hand corner of the page.

  5. A new e-mail notification will be sent.

How do I know if my bouquet was received?
If you selected to receive a pickup notice, we will send you an e-mail notice when the item is read.

If you are a Virtual Bud Club member, you can also go to the 'Virtual Flower Bouquet Mailbox' to view the status of all the Virtual Flower Bouquets you have sent during the past 30 days.

Is it true my Virtual Flower Bouquets will eventually fade away?
Yes, it's true. After four weeks, the Virtual Flower Bouquets and all records are destroyed. Sorry, but we can't recover the information after that time.

If you want to keep your Virtual Flower Bouquet long term, you may want to send it to your printer or save it to your hard drive.

Can I send a Virtual Flower Bouquet to multiple people at once?
Yes. Simply separate the addresses with a comma. For example: "name1@domain1.com, name2@domain2.com".

The sender used a bogus name.  Who sent this bouquet?
The Internet makes it somewhat easy to be anonymous when sending an e-mail message. If you do a little sleuthing, you can find the origin of your mystery mail. Try this:

  1. Look for the Internet IP Address at the bottom of the e-mail you received, telling you of the Virtual Flower Bouquet. (Hint: You'll see a statement like: "The originator of this item was logged into IP Address aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd on MMM D at hh:mm".)
  2. Use this "Internet IP Address" to ask your Internet Service Provider/System Administrator who was logged into that IP Address at the time/date the original e-mail was sent to you. Many systems keep records of this information and will sometimes provide it if asked.
  3. Once the TRUE IDENTITY of your secret admirer is revealed, why not bounce back another Virtual Flower Bouquet?

Can I provide a link from my site to yours?
Sure, if you have a web site that compliments our business and doesn't promote any yucky stuff (we think you know what we mean.) If you like, you can use the following HTML code to place a small "Virtual Florist" graphic button and site link on your page:

Virtual Florist
<A HREF="http://www.virtualflorist.com/en/act/home/"><IMG
SRC="http://www.virtualflorist.com/images/vf_button2.gif"
ALT="Virtual Florist" border=0></A>

Can I lift the graphics from your web site?
No, if you want to stay on the right side of the law. Most of the graphics are copyrighted and can't be used without paying a royalty to the owner.
